How to dye concrete with integral pigment

Concrete pigmenting has been difficult because before there has not been a simple way to do it. Now with our new Terra-Tint integral pigment it is really easy.

One bag contains 1,3kg of pigment. The box has a scoop with you do the dosing. One scoop contains 60grams of pigment. So if you just want lightly darken the concrete with dark charcoal pigment you can use 3 to 4 scoops per 25kg bag of concrete. Or if you want dark it takes six scoops of pigment with one 25kg bag of concrete.

The mixing has been done easy as well, you just add 1,1 litres of water to the concrete mixing container and add the pigment to the water. Mix them together and then add the concrete mix. Always use the concrete manufacturers instructions what is the total amount of water needed to the mix. Do not add more water than recommended, it might fade the pigment color.

When you do bigger concrete projects, it is easy to get same color to each patch. Just use the same mixing ratio, add as many scoops of pigment as you have done previous bags. It really is that easy:)

From the pictures below you can see the difference. Both made with same concrete.
